Well, the logo is a bit smarmy and unctuous and at odds with the cynical, flip-the-bird tone of this site. Vicki had long wanted to design a new logo. But she didn't want to rename the page. First they tear down the tenants' bulletin board. Now they want to tear down this web site. A Manhattan housing-court stipulation forbids citing our landlords on Vicki Richman's web site, except as dictated by the landlords: dummy LLCs and LPs; the name of an employee; a voicemail number; a postal box number. Housing is part of the Unified Court System of New York. Therefore we believe the stipulation applies only to our state. If you agree, don't click, and go somewhere else. However, we also believe the stipulation restrains only the respondents, not the Tenants Association, which is protected by law. Agree? Then click below:
